I want to help

I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but right now it feels right, so I'm going for it. And even though I'm terrible at expressing my ideas in writing, I'm going to go ahead and give that a shot too. So, I hope this all makes sense in the end.

Like a lot of people (understatement), I've been thinking about the economy and the effect it's having on a lot of people. I'm frustrated as I watch stores close up shop, good ideas go to waste, and start up business fail because they couldn't even get a fighting chance.

I want to see success again. Something positive. And I want to help.

I've been wondering how I can help. Wondering what I have to offer. What I can do.

Well, I've decided I can't do much. But I can offer pictures. And pictures can help a new business look legit, create strong branding, help in marketing and contribute to making money.

So.

I've decided I might be able to help (I hope), by offering what I can do to one deserving business in need. Know any or anyone? A new skate shop in need of nice shots for advertising, a start up clothing company in need of images for their catalog, or a talented crafter that could use pictures for their website? I'm open to anything. Whoever could use the help. Whoever you think could use the help. I'm willing to help.

If you know of such a business,
send me an email (mattclaytonphotography{at}gmail.com) and include their contact information, links to their services, and a reason why they could use the help.

Maybe this could help?

Thanks for reading and continuing to visit. I look forward to hearing from you.

Small print: Nominations will be accepted from now until midnight February 28, 2010. The selected business
